Red Arrows Experience day – Weekends
Now you can find out what it feels like to wow the public with amazing aerobatic flying displays with the Arrows Experience. You do not actually fly the plane with this experience, but you are right in the middle of the action as you sit in the aircraft throughout all the manoeuvres. This experience will give you the chance to enjoy the world of close formation aerobatic display flying with experts highly skilled in the art. During the 30-minute flight you'll get to do barrel rolls, tail-chasing, loops and experience forces up to 5G all under the supervision of expert pilots who have been part of the Red Arrows team at one point or another. The experience begins with a welcome chat over tea or coffee, a briefing on formation techniques, flight profile, and emergency procedures. Then your flying clothes are fitted after which you'll receive a formal briefing. Then you're escorted to the aircraft, strapped in where you taxi out to the runway and take off in formation. This is followed by manoeuvring in close formation as you go higher. Then you complete an assortment of aerobatic tricks like dog fighting manoeuvres and barrel rolls. Your return to the airfield is followed by a debrief and coffee. Participants must be over the age of 17. Minimum height is 5’, maximum height is 6’4’’. Maximum weight is 15 stone. .
