Ice Climbing gift experience
Are you ready to test the limits of your physical fitness? Think you're up to the challenge of scaling incredible ice walls? Then you're going to want to try the Ice Climbing Gift Experience. These amazing ice walls are kept at a constant -12° and have been by hand to create several ice faces. These ice faces are complete with bumps, crevices and even icicles. Any climbing ability can try this experience. There's something for beginners and the more advanced will enjoy the steep overhangs, confined canyons and vertical courses. More than 100 tonnes of snow has been used to create this amazing 300m² of solid ice. Your experience will begin with a full safety briefing after meeting your instructor. You'll then get kitted up with safety gear and then head to the ice wall. Climbing is completed under strict supervision at all times and the Ice Climbing Gift Experience tuition is done on a one to one basis. The entire experience lasts about 1.5 hours and is suitable for anyone 13 years and older. Those under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. Naturally, you need to be able bodied and in reasonable health to enjoy this experience. Please wear loose fitting clothing. The specialist clothing and equipment for the day will be supplied.
