Ice Climbing for Two
Those who enjoy climbing will really appreciate the extra thrill of climbing ice with the Ice Climbing for Two experience. Over 100 tonnes of snow is used to create approximately 300m² of solid indoor ice walls. The indoor temperature is kept a constant -12°, so there' s never a worry about the ice becoming too mushy to climb. The ice has been specially designed to suit a range of abilities and even beginners will find this experience thrilling and fun. These indoor ice walls have confined canyons, steep overhangs and vertical courses that are guaranteed to make your climb interesting. The Ice Climbing for Two experience begins with a full safety briefing where you' ll meet your instructor and learn how to use the safety gear. You' ll get kitted up with the gear and climb the ice wall under the strict supervision of a skilled instructor. Tuition is on a one to one basis and the entire experience, including briefing, lasts about 1.5 hours. Forty minutes will be spent in the ice tower. Voucher valid for 10 months. Location: London (South East) or Manchester (North). Please wear loose fitting clothing. Specialist equipment will be supplied. Must be in reasonable health and able bodied to participate. Minimum age:13. Those under 16 need to be accompanied with an adult. Maximum five climbers per session.
