Virtual Soldier Experience
Become a soldier without risking your life with the Virtual Soldier Experience. It' s a realistic battlefield experience that uses the MOD's’Headhunter' training system. You must eliminate your enemy by hitting sensors located in the helmet and rig using an SA80 rifle that fires invisible, safe beams at the same speed as a 5.56 bullet. When your enemy has been hit, an alarm will sound and their weapon will become inoperable. They are out of action until they make it to the Company Aid Post where they' ll be electronically resuscitated and sent back in to fight. When you arrive at the venue, you' ll receive a full briefing from the team. You' ll then be issued with full DPM coveralls, webbing belt, helmet and chest rig. This gear must be worn at all times. Then you' ll embark on your truly authentic combat experience. You' ll receive unlimited ammunition during the three-hour experience, but you' ll need to reload from an electronic ammunition dump. Voucher is valid for 10 months. The experience runs on select Saturdays every month. Minimum age is 17 years. Up to 20 people can participate in this experience. A reasonable fitness level and good health is required. Location: Essex (South East)
