There is nothing worst when buying a gift online than to not receive it on time for the event. This can happen, but is fairly rare unless Royal Mail happen to go on strike!

Standard Courier service – £4.95 – order before 3pm and your gift will be despatched same day. This service is guaranteed to be delivered within 4 working days and does not require a signature upon receipt.
Guaranteed Next Day Courier Service – £7.50 (same price as Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day) – order before 3pm Monday to Thursday and your gift is guaranteed to be delivered before 4pm the following day.

Virgin Experience Days
Whilst Royal Mail are taking national strike action Virgin Experience Days will replace Royal Mail Special Delivery with an Interlink Courier service (this does not include Saturday Delivery). They will not charge you an extra cost for this delivery service and would advise using this option if you want next day delivery.
Virgin are also providing a temporary print out gift certificate if your pack is delayed so you can give the recipient his or her gift in case.

Red Letter Days
Red Letter Days offer a wide range of experience days, and have pledged to reduce their next day courier service down to £3.95 from £8.75.
