50 Minute Warbird Flight
The 50 Minute Warbird Flight, what an experience this is. An inimitable opportunity to fly a real warbird, just like the WWII Spitfire aces. Enjoy the thrill of flying a T-6 Texan, the World War II classic, which was originated from the NA-16 prototype, first flown in 1935. Throughout the last war it was used to train fighter pilots and was still serving as late as the 1990's, as a chase plane to test helicopters.
The 50 Minute Warbird Flight in this single engine, dual controlled, two place, ex-military trainer gives you the opportunity to sit at the controls and face up to the many challenges, as thousands of British pilots once did. This will be a truly memorable experience. You can participate as much as you want, you can even choose to fly up to seventy five percent of the time, or sit back and let your imagination go wild.
This adventure is available in two locations in the UK, Kent in the South East or Northamptonshire in the Midlands. On arrival you will be welcomed and briefed. Once you are familiar with the aircraft, and are strapped in the cockpit, behind your instructor, assisted him in all the pre flight checks, its take off!
