Microlight Flight 60 minutes (UK wide) is available throughout the UK in Bedfordshire, County Armagh, Derbyshire, Devon Herefordshire, East Lothian Kent, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Surrey, Yorkshire and Wiltshire. This is a remarkable chance to take to the skies, soar like a bird and experience the heady freedom, offered by these terrifically manoeuvrable machines, as you skim past the clouds, and watch the ground slide by.
The Microlight, which is designed somewhat like a hanglider, looks a little scary, but they are recognized as a safe, stable form of travel, and this is your opportunity to experience the flight of a lifetime, for a full sixty minutes. On your arrival at your chosen airport you will receive a briefing regarding the principles of flying in a Microlight, plus a chance to familiarize your self with the control layout.
Then up you go for an incredible 60-minute flight. If your instructor believes you are ready to go it alone, he will allow you to take the controls, and gain experience as the pilot.
