Offshore Racing RIB Blast
The location of thisOffshore Racing RIB Blast is Southampton and the surrounding Solent. Just imagine a stimulating, high-speed trip around the Solent. The Solent separates the Isle of Wight from Portsmouth, and Southampton and is renown for yachting and boating, and you are given the opportunity to blast your way around these waters in a 250hp RIB.
RIBs or as they are otherwise known, rigid inflatable boats, are powerboats fitted with inflatable tubes or collars, which makes them almost unsinkable, and consequently suitable for use, whatever the conditions. They are one of the most adaptable boats available, which is why they are used as patrol boats by the military, rescue boats by the RNLI, work boats in the North Sea, tenders to super yachts, and race boats in international competitions, cruising boats by families world wide, and now you have the opportunity to feel the wind on your cheeks, as you prepare your self for the ride of your life, taking your turn at the controls, with no more than seven others, aboard this impressive vessel.
On your arrival at the marina you instructor will greet you, give a full safety briefing, and kit you out with life jackets, and wet weather clothing. Soon you will be taking the controls single-handedly, in turn with the others. You will be travelling at speeds of up to 50 mph in the 250hp Offshore Race RIB, as you travel from Southampton into the Solent.
