Lotus Exige Experience at Thruxton
The Lotus Exige is a car used for touring and in superbike racing and now thanks to the Lotus Exige Experience at Thruxton you can get a chance to drive this incredible vehicle. The Thruxton is the UK’s fastest race circuit and you’ll get to test out the Lotus’ massive 189bhp. Think about it. You’ll be actually driving a car that’s worth well over 30,000 pounds! Your experience begins with a 30-minute safety briefing. During this briefing your instructor will talk you through the vehicle’s capabilities and the track’s racing lines. Then you’ll climb into the passenger seat and enjoy the ride and your instructor drives three demonstration laps. Then it’s your turn. You’ll get to drive the Lotus Exige a full seven laps. The Lotus Exige Experience at Thruxton lasts about two hours and those hours will just fly by because you’re having so much fun. You should wear appropriate clothing for this experience. Since you’ll be spending a lot of time outside. When you drive, you need to wear long trousers, a long sleeved top and thin-soled shoes. You need thin-soled shoes because the petals on racing cars are very close together. Courses available only on weekdays. A full valid UK driving licence is required.
