One-Day Tasters show you the basics of sailing, how to use the engine, put up the sails, how to manoeuvre, point of sail, plus the usual safety and anchoring, without a set syllabus. If you want more you can choose the Competent Crew Sailing Course for two, which is the first step towards acquiring your RYA qualifications and is the basic standard required. These courses run for five days at a time, starting on a Sunday evening and finishing with the final sail and certificate presentations, on Friday.
